Not your Lays Potato Chips

Is it Potato or Potatoe? I better ask Bush.

My kids, ages 9 and 11, actually make these…that’s how easy this recipe is to make! I prefer the sweet potato chips but it’s the same recipe just use a different potato- whichever you prefer!

Ingredients:

  • 6 Gold or Yukon potatoes (optional and healthier: use sweet potatoes!)
  • Olive il spray or coconut oil depending on your preference for taste
  • Sea salt (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Slice potatoes into very thin slices using kitchen utensil or sharp knife (FYI my kids use a very dull table knife and the chips still come out great)
  2. Spray or coat a tin pan with olive oil or PAM or oil of choice
  3. Place potatoes all over tin and try not to layer too much but if you run out of room in the tin you can flip and rearrange during cooking process

Place in oven on 450 for 30 minutes or until golden brown –and serve!

This recipe is not only easy but they taste exactly like the real thing- only significantly healthier, low in saturated fat and high in vitamin C, and Potassium
